How do I know if my insurance company will replace my roof?
Your homeowner's insurance is specifically designed to cover disastrous events such as an act of GOD, storm damage, fire, etc. Because your home is your single most significant investment, if your roof suffers hail/wind or other damage that causes a financial loss, your insurance company will pay for your loss and pay to have your roof replaced.
Does Signature Roofing recommend certain roofing manufacturers?

If my gutters, siding, window surrounds, etc. are damaged will they be covered too?
Your will receive a comprehensive inspection including all outdoor features: gutters, fascia, siding, etc. If these features suffered damaged during a storm or other act of nature your insurance company will be notified of all damages and you will be compensated for your loss.
My roof is leaking. Do I need to replace it completely?
No, not necessarily. Leaks in your roof can be the result of loose flashings or even just a section of the roof that has been damaged. If a roof fails completely it is typically the result of improper installation or less than quality roofing materials. It is also common that the roof system is simply a bad choice for the home or building.
Can I repair my roof myself?
Whether you are repairing your roof or installing a brand new roof, no roofing project is a, "Do It Yourself" job. Roofing should be done by roofing experts who have the experience and proper equipment to repair or replace roof systems. By attempting to repair your roof yourself or even hiring someone who lacks experience in the roofing industry you could cause further damage.
How long should my roof last?
Most new roofs are designed to last approximately 20 years. Slate, clay tile and certain metal roofing systems can last even longer. Climate and environmental conditions, proper roof system design and installation are all factors that determine the actual life expectancy of your roof.
How long does it take to complete my roof repair or replacement?
The amount of time to complete a roof project is determined by the size, slope, weather conditions and accessibility. Typically, a roofing project can be completed in 3-5 days.
Why does my landscaping next to the house keep getting destroyed?
Water runoff from the roof is most likely the problem. If your gutter system is not cleaned routinely water will drain directly into the landscaping. If you do not have a gutter system this would be an invaluable asset to your home. Correctly installed gutters and downspouts will add beauty to your home and protect your home and its foundation and help save your landscaping.
Is my steep roof a problem?
Steep roofs are tricky to work on, but our teams are capable of working on extreme roofs whether they are very flat or steep. We have the right tools and experience for these systems.
What maintenance should be done on my new roof?
For the first few years, the only maintenance that should be done is to keep the gutters and downspouts free of leaves and debris. You should also check to make sure that there are no trees leaning on the shingles, no bushes are touching the roof or gutters, and the general area is free of debris such as sticks or leaves. As the years go on, make sure your shingles are aging correctly. They may curl a bit or get slightly wavy at the edges, which is normal. If shingles or flashings are missing, severely damaged, or you can see visible holes, don't hesitate to give us a call.
Do you offer free inspections and estimates?
Absolutely! We will schedule a time that is convenient to your schedule to complete a comprehensive roof inspection. Your roof will also be measured, cost will be calculated and we will provide you with a written estimate of our findings. We will also answer any questions or concerns you may have.
